Description

If the idea of working on a broad range of Factory Automation, PLC, Control Systems projects appeals to you, read on. If you'd like to continue using your hands on Control Systems Engineer skills, and lead a small team of Engineers on those projects, that's what we have here.

You'll have your own projects as an Engineer - taking a customer's enquiry, translating that into a PLC HMI Robotic system which solves the customer's materials handling, assembly, test, factory automation issues. You'll do all of the PLC programming, HMI configuration, sometimes getting involved in Electrical Design, testing and commissioning of the finished project in the workshops. Start to finish involvement- often one off, problem solving projects for a range of industries. Never dull.

Then, as a Lead Engineer- you'll organise a small team of Automation Engineers doing exactly the same on their own projects. So in this case, you'll be planning their work around deadlines, ensuring quality of output, working with the other design, build, projects departments to mesh what your department does with theirs. No need for a highly schooled manager, just a good Organiser- Controls Engineer, and the job will grow as the Company grows.

The vacancy is commutable from areas such as Coventry, Leicester, Coalville, Nottingham too. Sorry- no work permits are available for these vacancies.
